Characterful, beautifully weighted St Joseph that offers a fine balance of husky, dark bramble and cassis fruit mixed with higher pitched granitic inflections of salt, red cherry and sap, with herbs and pepper completing the picture. Well proportioned and full of character and snap. Aged for a year in used oak barrel.
