It is made of wood and has been beautifully hand carved. It is round in shape and measures 7 inches in diameter and 2 1 2 inches in height. It is hand signed on the bottom by the artist and dated 1958. It is in very good condition inside and out. It would be nice to use to hold sewing supplies, jewelry, trinkets, spices, etc.
