The sculpted canvas is molded together with fresco plaster, gesso, ash, green earth on board. The original 17th century Italian Florence fragment is molded into the sculptural canvas to create a dynamic relief sculpture. The Florence Flood body of work is similar to Rousseau's other known work but relies less on gilding and highlights instead
