Davis Art Gallery ID'd Man & Woman Montana? cabinet card early-1880s cabinet card with "Cremation6th plate daguerreotype of an older couple, with a note inside saying it was taken at Davis' Art Gallery on July 20th 1868! That's very late for a daguerreotype, almost stretching into the 1870s. There must have been only a small handful of daguerreotype photographers at that time I can't personally recall seeing a later dag than this that wasn't from the "revival" period. It is additionally signed "F. A. Adams", which might be the man in the photo or
