This island is fortunate to be able to produce both pure cane juice rums and molasses rums. Emperor has taken advantage of this to offer us this blend of 40% pure juice rum (aged 12 years) and 60% molasses rum (aged 5 to 7 years). The rums were blended and then put into old Palo Cortado sherry casks for a further 8 months. And that's where the experiment gets
