First, choose 1 of the 5 boards, each with a hole matching the shape of a wooden piece: a square, a circle, a triangle, a flower and a semi circle. The adult inserts it in the box and the child finds the piece that matches the hole in the board, slides it in and lets it drop into the box. The pieces come out again easily so you can start again. The bottom of the box is lined with felt for
